Chinese government defends decision to ban Micron products

The security inspection of Micron’s products “was carried out in accordance with the law,” said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning.

The Cyberspace Administration of China said on Sunday that Micron’s products pose a security risk, but did not provide further details.

It was forbidden to use the products of the American company on computers that handle classified information.
