Cinema professionals visit the studio of the Hiba Foundation in Casablanca

Cinema professionals visited, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the recording and production studio of the Hiba Foundation and Uzine in Casablanca to immerse themselves in innovations and glimpse partnerships.

The visit concerned the recording and rehearsal studios, the artists’ residences, the meeting rooms and the administrative offices of the production house of the Hiba Foundation and the Uzine in Casablanca.

Hamza Lyoubi explained the role of each studio, its performance, and the innovations made to produce good sound and beautiful images. He expressed the studio’s availability to work with any artist and the openness of the studio to external partners. Located in the Bernoussi district in Casablanca, the Hiba studio covers a total area of ​​1,500m². It is designed to allow the recording of different musical currents.

This studio is a first in Morocco, by its size and its level of equipment, but also by its design which takes into account the many needs expressed by future users.

It is divided into two separate buildings: a recording studio complex and a residence to house artists while they wait for their performances, explained the tour guide. The director of the Gambidi cultural space in Burkina Faso, Kira Claude Guingane, one of the visitors, said he was “satisfied” to discover “high-level buildings”. For him, the Hiba studio shows that a lot remains to be done for quality productions.

Created in 2006 on the initiative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Hiba Foundation is a non-profit association that works to support creation, federate private initiatives, encourage talent, participate in the development of emerging arts and favor contemporary creations.
