Jakarta. After the violent clashes between protestors and police in Jakarta over the past two days.
Constitutional Court spokesman Fajar Laksono said on Thursday.
Thursday, after backtracking from his earlier threats to overturn the election result through mass action.
Fajar said Prabowo and his team of attorneys still have until midnight on Friday to submit their complaint.
He explained that complainants would be required to submit written requests to the court, and should be produced during the trial.
Complainants will be allowed to submit the documentation before the start of the trial in three weeks.
"The schedule for (hearing disputes on) the presidential election will be on June 11. Then we will have a decision by no later than June 28, Fajar said.
There will also be several hearings on June 14, 17 and 21, he added.
Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, the Prabowo campaign team's director of advocacy and law, confirmed on Thursday that they were planning to submit their disputes to the court later in the day.
Prabowo supported a series of protests in Jakarta on Tuesday and Wednesday, which turned dead after clashes police said they were started on purpose by unidentified rioters.
Prabowo has called on his supporters to remain calm and practice restraint.
The Jakarta Police said it expected further protests on Thursday, but some personnel would remain on duty in the offices of the General Elections Commission (KPU) and Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) in Central Jakarta.
Komaruddin Hidayat, the rector of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University in Jakarta, said Prabowo must continue with calls on his support, and that he should convince them that street protests are no longer necessary.
"The demonstration is of no use or change to the election result. The important thing is now for Prabowo-Sandi to ask their stand to stand down and to emphasize the fight through legal means in the Constitutional Court," Komaruddin said, referring to Prabowo and his running mate Sandiaga Uno.
"Various violations occurred on both sides, (but to determine) how severe they were and how they can be resolved, must be through legal and constitutional channels," the academic said.
