Represented at CES 2023 Cooler Master’s unusual Sneaker X and Cooling X computer cases will go on sale in July earlier this year, but only with ready-made gaming PCs inside – these cases will not be sold separately. The first is made in the form of a sneaker. The peculiarity of the second is that its side walls represent the contour of the liquid cooling system.

Despite the fact that the Sneaker X sneaker case itself is very large – 650 × 306 × 651 mm – it is designed to build a system based on a Mini-ITX motherboard. It also has enough space for a power supply unit of only a compact SFX form factor and one 2.5-inch drive. At the same time, the novelty supports the installation of a liquid cooling system with a 360 mm radiator, as well as video cards with dimensions up to 304 × 137 × 61 mm.

The manufacturer did not specify in what configurations PC sneakers will be available, noting only the use of the latest generation Intel and AMD processors. Cooler Master Sneaker X gaming PCs will start at $5,999. The systems will be offered in blue, pink and red color options.

The appearance of the Cooling X case model seems more traditional. It resembles the Cooler Master Cosmos model, although much more compact. Cooling X dimensions are 266 × 149.4 × 371.6 mm, its internal volume is 14.8 liters.

An unusual feature of the Cooling X case is its side panels, which are actually coolant heatsinks for the processor and video card. In this configuration, the liquid from the radiator of the left side wall is pumped through the cooling circuits of the central processor and video card, sent to the right radiator panel, cooled there and returned back.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not specify all available configurations for Cooling X PCs. Back at CES 2023, the company assembled a system with an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X on Zen 3 and a Radeon 6800 XT graphics card based on the RDNA 2 architecture. According to the latest press release manufacturer, the system was upgraded to AMD Ryzen 9 7950X with Zen 4 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 generation Ada Lovelace graphics. Up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, 4 TB M.2 drives and an 850 W Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold power supply were also announced here.

Cooling X computers will be offered starting at $6999.
