Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia out of 8,662 molecular swabs have been detected 718 new infections with a positive percentage of 8.29%. I am also 13,635 rapid tests made antigenic, from which they were detected 102 almost (0,75%).
Today 12 deaths were recorded: specifically, it is a 94-year-old man from Sacile who died in hospital; a 93-year-old man from Trieste who died in hospital, a 90-year-old man from Trieste who died in hospital, a 90-year-old woman from Grado who died in a facility for the elderly; an 89-year-old woman from Cordenons who died in a nursing home; an 87-year-old man from Trieste who died in hospital; an 86-year-old woman from Pordenone who died in hospital; an 84-year-old woman from Trieste who died in hospital; an 81-year-old man from Sagrado who died in hospital; a 78-year-old man from Trieste who died in hospital; a 78-year-old man from Muggia who died in hospital and a 65-year-old man from Trieste who died in hospital.
There are 25 people admitted to intensive care, while patients in other wards are 284. This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi.
The total deaths amounted to 4,008 (the total of deaths was reduced by one unit following a check on the information systems), with the following territorial subdivision: 925 in Trieste, 2.047 in Udine, 716 in Pordenone and 320 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 121,514, the clinically healed 205, while the people in isolation are 7,315.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 133,351 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 31,465 in Trieste, 57,611 in Udine, 25,913 in Pordenone, 16,520 in Gorizia and 1,842 from outside the region. The total of positive cases was reduced by 8 units following 4 antigen tests not confirmed by molecular swab and 4 tests removed after case review.
As regards the regional health system, the positivity of 2 nurses and a speech therapist from the Central Friuli University Healthcare Unit was detected; 2 doctors, a veterinarian, a nurse and a socio-health worker from the Giuliano Isontina University Healthcare Company; a nurse from the Western Friuli Health Authority; a nurse and a statistician from Irccs Cro of Aviano.
20 cases were then detected among the guests of the residences for the elderly in the region (Trieste, Pordenone, Azzano Decimo, Spilimbergo and Muggia), in addition 9 operators were positive within the structures themselves (Trieste, Pordenone, San Dorligo della Valle , Morsano al Tagliamento, Udine, San Canzian d’Isonzo).
