Coronavirus in Argentina: 254 new deaths bring the number of victims to 13,053

He Ministry of Health of the Nation this Sunday released its usual health report with the number of positives and deaths from causes related to the coronavirus in Argentina.

During the day, 254 deaths and 8,431 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed. So far 631,365 positives and 13,053 deaths have been registered throughout the national territory.

Of the total of these cases, 1,262 (0.2%) are imported, 134,820 (21.4%) are close contacts of confirmed cases, 412,203 (65.3%) are cases of community circulation and the rest are under epidemiological investigation .

According to the daily report of the Nation, the province of Córdoba registered 600 confirmations, although the provincial report is awaited for further details.

  • 1 resident in the province of Chaco
  • 5 residents in the province of Córdoba
  • 2 residents in the province of Entre Ríos

  • 2 residents in the province of Mendoza
  • 1 resident in the province of Neuquén
  • 8 residents in the province of Salta
  • 1 resident in the province of Santa Fe
  • 1 resident in the province of Santiago del Estero
  • 11 residents in the province of Tucumán

To date, the total number of registrations is 488,231 people.

According to the information provided by the jurisdictions, throughout the country there are 3,261 patients with Covid-19 admitted to Intensive Care Units, which represents 60.3% of occupation nationwide and 65.9% in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires.
