Dr. Norbert Suttorp heads infectious diseases at the Berlin Charité and also treats the particularly severe cases of Covid-19 in the intensive care unit. The doctor assumes that the number of cases will rise again in autumn and that “half a week will decide whether the beds are enough or not”. In the exclusive interview, he also says when a vaccine is realistic and which drug surprisingly has a great effect on treatment.
