In the vast majority (79%) of Portuguese municipalities, the incidence of new cases of covid-19 dropped or remained the same in the last week compared to the previous week’s data, according to the update made this Friday by the General Directorate of Health (DGS), for the period between 9 and 22 September. Barrancos has the highest incidence (1171) and is the only municipality to pass the threshold of 960 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants, the highest level defined by the DGS.
