COVID-19 situation in Tucumán – Ministry of Public Health of Tucumán

The Ministry of Public Health reports that 1,165 new cases of COVID-19 have been added in Tucumán, totaling 36,368. Of which 302 were processed by the Public Health Laboratory, 130 by private laboratories and 733 were antigen tests.

The cases correspond to the following departments: Capital (598); Cruz Alta (181); Old Tafi (114); Yerba Buena (73); Lules (33); Chicligasta (31): Río Chico (27); Loyal (25); Monteros (17); Alberdi (17); Burruyacú (15); Famaillá (11); Simoca (5); Barns (4); La Cocha (3); Locks (2).

The total of patients discharged to date is 21,231.

Likewise, the death of four patients who were being assisted in the private sector is reported:

-An 81-year-old woman with comorbidities, admitted to intensive care in the private sector with Covid-19 pneumonia.

-A 93-year-old woman with comorbidities, admitted to intensive care in the private sector with Covid-19 pneumonia.

-A 79-year-old man with comorbidities, admitted to intermediate therapy in the private sector with Covid-19 pneumonia.

-A 65-year-old man with comorbidities, admitted to intensive care in the private sector, on mechanical ventilation, with Covid-19 pneumonia.
