The “Deconfiguration Plan” is presented and in progress, but it is not uncommon for the sectors of activity where doubts about the reopening persist, and the molds in which it will be carried out. Many of them occupy the Portuguese preference list during the summer. That this year will certainly be different.
This Tuesday’s meeting between the Association of Gyms and Academies of Portugal (AGAP) and the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) was of “agreement”, in the words of the president of AGAP, José Carlos Reis, who stated that the gyms not only want but need to reopen on June 1st. There are no certainties, but the same José Carlos Reis said that the measures that the association presented to the Secretary of State for Youth and Sports, João Paulo Rebelo, are not very different from those required by DGS. “There is great agreement, although we have only spoken in general terms, without specifying any proposal.”
