The federal judge of Lomas de Zamora Federico Villena summoned the vice president as witnesses Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and the head of government of the city of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, to show them the evidence found in relation to an alleged illegal espionage of which they would have been victims.
The summons to both was resolved to show that evidence, after which they will be able to decide if they appear as plaintiffs in the case, judicial sources reported.
Villena investigates the alleged illegal espionage of politicians, officials and journalists during the government of Mauricio Macri, in an investigation that was opened as a result of the sayings of a repentant drug trafficker, reported Télam.
In the case of the Vice President, the Buenos Aires judge summoned her for next Monday at a time to be defined.
The subpoenas were resolved so that they “become aware of the evidence” and “make the demonstrations” they consider, the sources explained.
