Crossover Suzuki Vitara will change generation in October – Motor

The Japanese portal Best Car claims that Suzuki will position the Escudo model 2021 model year as a crossover of the next, fifth in a row generation. However, the basic design of the SUV will not change: the novelty will preserve both the architecture of the chassis and the line of power units.

It is expected that the new Vitara will add 25 millimeters in body length, 5 millimeters in width, and 20 millimeters in height, and the wheelbase of 2500 millimeters will remain the same. Thus, the overall length will increase to 4200 millimeters. Appearance will change evolutionarily: the crossover will switch to fully diode optics, the area of the radiator grill will increase, the sidewall profile will change, and the rear strut will become more sloping for the sake of a more sporty silhouette.
