After the requests of sportsmen of the city, the Municipal Administration, made the change of schedule since previously it was from 2 to 4 in the afternoon.
The Mayor’s Office of Neiva confirmed the change of schedule for people who want to do physical activity in the city, where their new schedule will be from 5 to 7 am, given that it was previously stipulated from 2 to 4 pm. However, as a result of demonstrations by several citizens, they asked that the afternoon schedule not continue due to the high temperatures.
“We know how important it is for health to be able to perform physical activity and for this reason we have made efforts to provide the necessary guarantees, but there must be responsible compliance with biosafety measures. (…) That is why as a show of good faith, and after listening to different positions and proposals, we have determined a new schedule for carrying out sports activities, which will be from Monday to Friday from 5 to 7 in the morning ”, indicated, the mayor of Neiva, Gorky Muñoz.
However, Mayor Gorky Muñoz said that if Neivans do not comply with the new physical activity standard, he will stipulate the hours from 2 to 4 pm again. “But bear in mind that at the end of next week we will make an evaluation of compliance with the measures and if there is indiscipline, crowds and other actions that put life at risk, we will return to adopt the previous schedule,” he said.
In that sense, the president announced that the Prohibition Law will remain in force every weekend, from Friday at noon to Monday at 6 in the morning. The Curfew will remain in effect every day from 10 at night until 5 in the morning.
Likewise, the Pico y Cédula will remain as it has come from Monday to Friday, from 7 in the morning to 9 at night, with two digits per day.
Total confinement will be maintained on Saturdays and Sundays.
“The Anticovid Patrol, which has produced important results, will continue with the pedagogical but also sanctioning work, for those who do not yet understand that this requires everyone’s assistance. They will continue to arrive in the neighborhoods, day and night, and will prevent parties, meetings or crowds from taking place that put everyone’s health at risk, ”warned the president.
