The Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale will host the club's academy and a £ 45 million training complex with an 18,000-seat arena that will serve as a temporary home on the MLS side.
The Beckham and Miami-owned group aims to build a 25,000-seat stadium at Miami Freedom Park, but planning obstacles and costly toxic waste collection means that new land would not be ready for the team's planned debut in 2020.

The dilapidated stadium will be the club's training complex after a large-scale reconstruction that will see the stadium rotated 90 degrees
It will also host the first team matches in an 18,000-seat stadium for two seasons starting in 2020, while another site will be developed
Beckham described the occasion as an "exciting day" and stated that the club's facilities will be available to everyone in the area
Speaking with journalists at the Lockhart stadium, the 43-year-old said: "This is an exciting day, because I said from day one, and a long time ago, that it is all thanks to the academy and the children in this great city .
"It is a visionary idea, it is the perfect location and it is what we will feel will give children the chance to live their dreams.
& # 39; This will not only be for those who play for Inter Miami, but also for children who just want to enjoy this amazing game and play safe sport in a safe place. & # 39;

The Lockhart Stadium is located 30 miles north of the city of Miami and will be completely rebuilt by the club.
At the moment it looks like a shadow of his previous self, with a wildly invaded pitch that swallows rusty poles, while the stands have missing places and are covered in graffiti.
Beckham has been hunting for a home for his MLS franchise and a site has been selected in the city of Miami Freedom Park
But the Miami Freedom Park site won't be ready for the team's MLS debut in 2020 as it requires expensive cleaning
The arena was the home of Miami Fusion, Florida's first MLS team, which failed in 2001.
It also hosted the Fort Lauderdale Strikers and the Florida Atlantic University football team.
The Inter Miami plan is to level the current stadium and an adjacent baseball stadium, rotate the new stadium 90 degrees to run north to south, and host their academy, as well as use it as a base camp for the under 23 team, who will compete in the second-level United Soccer League.
