Davis Cup: know the statistics between Bolivia and the Dominican Republic

Bolivia will face the Dominican Republic this Friday 6 and Saturday 7, for the Play-off of World Group I at the Santa Cruz Tennis Club, in a key that represents the ninth match and the importance for the hosts of reducing the difference 2-6 against.

And it is that both nations have faced each other since 1989 on eight occasions and where Bolivia won twice and lost six.

Led by Hugo Dellien, Federico Zeballos, Alejandro Mendoza, Boris Arias and Murkell Dellien, the team led by Óscar Blacutt aims to win and go to World Group I that begins in September.

The victories of Bolivia were registered by Group III American Zone of 1994 in Santa Lucia, with victory 2-1; then 2-1 in Bermuda by the GIII.

The Dominican Republic won the 1989 American Zone Group II in Santo Domingo (3-2), the 1997 GIII in Bermuda (2-1), the 1998 GIII in Santa Cruz (2-0), in the GIII of the 2000 in Jamaica (2-1), by the GII of 2008 in Santa Cruz (5-0) and the most recent of the GII of 2012 in Santo Domingo by the GII (4-1).
