The sporting goods chain Decathlon has become an official ‘partner’ of the NBA after signing a multi-year marketing agreement with the American professional basketball league NBA. The agreement will allow the French group to sell a new collection of thermal jerseys, accessories and footwear for the NBA and the league teams, items that will be designed by Decathlon and marketed under its Tarmak basketball brand.
The collection will be exclusively sold in more than 1,200 Decathlon stores worldwide and on the Decathlon.com online store. The products will be available in pre-order from next March, before the official launch in store in April.
