Colleagues from Depeche Mode: Andy Fletcher passed away without prolonged suffering

“We wanted to take a moment to appreciate the deluge of love for Andy that we’ve seen from all of you in the last few weeks. It’s been amazing to see all your photos, read your words and see how much Andy meant to all of you. As you can imagine, it was for us a few at least strange, sad, disorienting weeks. But we saw and felt all your mio and support, and we know that Andy’s family too “- the musicians began their entry. Later they admitted that they had known for several weeks why ruin their friend from the band, but only now – according to the decision of Fletcher’s relatives – reveal the cause of his death:

Andy suffered an aortic dissection at home on May 26. So, even though it was way too early, he passed away naturally and without prolonged suffering.
