Designed for Xbox smartphone gaming attachment

Nacon has already released a controller attachment for Android smartphones, which Olli also tested for the blog – the MG X. Now you can do it again with the MG-X Pro. You can also read a test and comparison with the non-pro version of this model soon. The new model is also part of the “Designed for Xbox„.

Essentially, the MG-X Pro is designed so that you can hook in your smartphone and use your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for cloud gaming on your mobile device as conveniently as possible. The connection between the controller attachment and smartphone is via Bluetooth 4.2. Asymmetrical joysticks, bumpers, triggers and action buttons as well as the well-known Xbox buttons are all on board.

According to the manufacturer, the structured surface of the Nacon MG-X Pro ensures a good grip. The adjustable width allows smartphones with a diagonal of up to 6.7 inches to be used. It is compatible with Android smartphones from version 6.0. It should have a battery life of 20 hours. However, Nacon points out that the actual operating time may vary somewhat depending on use. The MG-X Pro is charged via USB-C. You can check the charge level at any time via an LED display.

The MG-X Pro from NACON is now available in stores at the recommended retail price of EUR 99.99. That’s very interesting, because the price is what the normal MG-X cost at launch. Olli will soon explain the exact differences between the two versions in his review.
