The deputy Diop Sy, Director General of the company UD is summoned this Thursday to the National Office for the fight against Fraud and Corruption (OFNAC).
He will have to face the investigators of the Institution headed by Seynabou Ndiaye Diakhaté following the complaint filed by the Frapp, but also the leader of the JDS Babacar Diop relating to an offense of favoritism and conflicts of interest in the context of the distribution of the food aid decided upon when the Covid 19 appeared in Senegal.
A complaint that also targets Mansour Faye, brother-in-law of the president and minister of community development.
It will be at 10 o’clock we are told. Even if the deputy enjoys immunity, the prerogatives of OFNAC allow the Institution “to hear any person within the framework of its investigations”. Our attempts to reach the deputy Diop Sy, were unsuccessful.
