Anorexia is one of the most terrible diseases and one of the few to receive due attention. For some years, the numbers have increased and with this increase the people whose heart has stopped beating at the expense of a company that has imposed false stereotypes. But not only anorexia, there are other eating disorders such as bulimia, which are attacks of extreme voracity, where vomiting and manorxia self-induce, which is the disorder suffered by men and involves, among others, extremely sports.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, in Colombia, from 2009 to 2017, people aged 0-19 were diagnosed with anorexia, with an average of 4,322 patients treated in the year, in which 60 8% of these figures are female, which is very alarming, because very few people are aware of the extent of the problems these diseases bring with them; It should be noted that girls suffer from the smallest age.

In Mexico, every year 20,000 new cases of bulimia and anorexia among adolescents are documented, which has represented a 300% increase in the last 20 years, as stated by the Excelsior newspaper, and the National Institute of Psychiatry has shown that 10% of young people with anorexia and 17% with bulimia had attempted suicide, while only 25% received specialized treatment.

In Buenos Aires, Argentina, there is the Ceda center, where they offer interdisciplinary, personalized and outpatient assistance, focused on treatments for bulimia, anorexia and any other type of eating disorder; there they have a team of experts in the field, psychologists, psychiatrists, family therapists and nutritionists who work for these disorders, since there is a misunderstanding in calling these "whimsical" diseases when they are really specialized in eating lives of innocent people plagued by the measures that society defines beauty.

The number of people suffering from these diseases is on the rise and carry with them consequences such as depression, suicide and anxiety. Bullying, bullying and ridicule for physical and personality appearances, are also a boom to develop this type of disorder, today there are many children, young people and adults struggling to overcome this "whim".
