The premiere of the red carpet for the Disney Channel release Descendants 3 will not go further after the tragic death of one of its protagonists, Cameron Boyce.
Cameron, who played Carlos – Crudelia De Vil's bad son – in the film series, died on 6 July after suffering an attack.
Before Descendants 3The premiere, which was scheduled for July 22, Disney Channel has confirmed that it will not go further for respect for the actor.

In a statement, Disney Channel revealed that it will dedicate the broadcast of Descendants 3 in memory of Cameron when he debuts on August 2nd.
He wrote (via Weekly entertainment): "We are proud to be part of the legacy of Cameron Boyce by presenting his talents on screen, but we are canceling the first red carpet event for Descendants 3 scheduled for July 22nd.
"Instead, The Walt Disney Company will make a donation to the Thirst Project, a philanthropic organization that Cameron was deeply committed to.
"With the permission of the Boyce family, Disney Channel will dedicate the TV broadcast of Descendants 3 in the memory of Cameron Boyce. "
At the beginning of this week, the family of the actor confirmed that the 20-year-old died "due to an ongoing medical condition" and asked fans and supporters to respect their privacy.
"We are still trying to go through this extremely harrowing moment and we continue to ask for privacy so that the family and all those who knew and loved him can suffer from his loss and make arrangements for his funeral – which in and of himself, it's distressing, "reads a statement.
