The People’s Police Directorate of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) stated that its units suppressed the firing points of the Ukrainian army, from which strikes were launched on the outskirts of Yasinovataya on the morning of May 22. It is reported by the Donetsk News Agency.
The UNM claims that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) fired from artillery the village of Verkhnetoretskoe Nizhny to the north of Yasinovataya, resulting in damage to two buildings, a power line and a gas pipeline.
“Our units timely determined the places from which the enemy fired, and the enemy firing points were suppressed by adequate fire,” the department said.
DNR claims that the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost three servicemen killed, four wounded and two mortars.
Earlier, the headquarters of the operation of the combined forces of Ukraine said that the “Russian occupiers” in the Donbass knowingly violate the Minsk agreements.
On May 20, the DPR and the Lugansk People’s Republic announced that they had put the troops on alert.
