The 17th edition of the Dubai Airshow 2021, which was held from 14 to 18 November at Dubai World Central International Airport, in conjunction with the UAE’s hosting of Expo 2020 Dubai and its celebration of its fiftieth year, concluded yesterday.
The session succeeded in attracting more than 1,200 local and international companies, in addition to the participation of 5 countries for the first time in the exhibition, and more than 80 emerging companies striking a date with making the largest deals compared to the previous sessions of the event, despite the challenges facing the world as a result of the Covid 19 epidemic.
The Dubai International Airshow was able to continue its success by holding a number of deals and accompanying conferences, in which the number of speakers exceeded 220 speakers from different countries of the world, as well as visitors numbering more than 85,000, while providing an opportunity for the residents of the UAE to watch live shows for 3 hours a day in the region assigned to the exhibition grounds.
Marianne Morales, head of the technical team at Ansys, expressed his great pleasure to be present and participate in the Dubai Airshow 2021 and said: “We are grateful for this event and we are pleased to witness this great momentum and the influx of customers and companies here in the wake of the pandemic, especially with regard to how companies establish their engineering activities. And its tools, with a focus on new software and the future, which we greatly support.”
He added: “This year, we focused on task models and work in the field of safe complexes, and we added all the capabilities and criteria necessary to evaluate and upgrade engineering models, which is appropriate for our customers, in addition to the possibility of moving forward with the implementation of these engineering models. At the same time, we seek to establish partnerships and support future programs such as intelligence. artificial and sustainability.
For his part, Rajub Salamantla, Director of Strategy at Honeywell in Dubai, said: “It is great to be back during the Dubai Airshow 2021 and to attend it regularly as an important platform for us to be present in.”
