Eating pistachios helps you reduce stress


No one can resist eating only one, they are a rich and easy to find snack. Let's talk about the pistachios, that fruit of the oleaginous family (nuts), which in addition to delicious, a new study has revealed that they are good for reduce stress.

Research conducted by Pennsylvania State University now offers us one more reason to include pistachios in the diet. And what do you need? Mexico is the first country with the highest level of work stress, according to the World Health Organization.

But what is the study about? The researchers focused on two groups of patients with Type two diabetes, who have been given two different healthy diets (one including pistachios) to know the effects on blood pressure and hemodynamics, since the control of blood pressure when you have diabetes is essential to reduce the morbidity and mortality, according to the researchers.

After four weeks on the diet, the participants underwent two stress tests. The first was to solve an arithmetic problem; the second, put your hand in the frozen water.

The results, which had consumed pistachios, presented the blood vessels more relaxed, more control in the nerves of the heart and a minor vascular constriction.

The consumption of pistachios, as indicated by the study, reduces heart disease in diabetic patients.
