Effect of fertilization with three sources and two doses of phosphorus on the growth of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) Seedlings in the Association of Palm Growers of Shambillo (ASPASH) -Aguaytía

Abstract:

The research work entitled “Effect of fertilization with three sources and two doses of phosphorus on the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) in the association of palm growers of Shambillo” ASPASH “- Aguaytia”, executed between February 16 at August 16, 2019, aimed to evaluate the effect of phosphorous fertilization on the growth of oil palm seedlings in the nursery stage. The genetic material used in the research was Deli x Lamé. The treatments applied were T1 (70 g of RF), T2 (40 g of DAP), T3 (40 g of SPT), T4 (100 g of RF), T5 (60 g of DAP), T6 (60 g of SPT ). The randomized complete block design (DBCA) was used with a factorial arrangement of three sources for two doses of phosphorus, which consists of five blocks, six treatments and five repetitions, using thirty experimental units per treatment, the sowing distance was 0.70 m between rows and 0.70 m between plants. The results obtained indicate that the dose of treatment T3 (40 g per SFT plant) and T6 (60 g per SFT plant), obtained the highest averages regarding plant height 84.6 cm and 80.5 cm; number of leaves 17.6 and 17.6, leaf length 63.6 cm and 60.7 cm, leaf width 26.4 cm and 20.8 cm, stem diameter 8.30 cm and 7.1 cm, number of roots 12 and 14; length of roots of 78 cm and 86 cm and weight of roots 30 g and 40 g per plant.
