The high temperatures mean that today the autonomous communities of Andalusia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia, Murcia and Madrid remain on alert (although yellow, of less intensity) due to heat, although none of them will exceed 39 degrees, according to data from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

The maximum temperatures will be recorded in Andalusia, where 39 degrees are expected in the Cordovan countryside, in the Genil-Granada basin or in the Guadalquivir-Jaén valleywhile Antequera-Málaga will stay with 38 degrees, like Albacete (Castilla-La Mancha).
The Balearic Islands will reach 37 degrees today in Mallorca, the same temperature that will occur in La Mancha in Albacete and in La Mancha from Cuenca (Castilla-La Mancha), as well as in the south, vegas and west of the Community of Madrid.
For its part, Aemet forecasts heat of 36 degrees for today in the metropolitan area and Henares in Madrid, as well as in the central depression of Lleida (Catalonia) and on the banks of the Ebro in Zaragoza (Aragon).
