Al Hilal was crowned the Saudi Professional League title for the 2021/22 season, which brought the curtain down on its competitions yesterday evening, “Monday”, to achieve the title for the third consecutive season and the 18th in its history and consolidate its lead in the list of the most Saudi clubs crowned the title of the competition throughout its history.
Al-Hilal won the title with a 2-1 victory over Al-Faisaly yesterday evening in the last round of the competition, which witnessed the relegation of Al-Faisaly to the First Division League.
And Al Hilal raised its score at the top of the competition table to 67 points, ahead of Al Ittihad Jeddah by two points, after the latter tied with Al Batin negatively in the same round.
With this, Al Hilal raised its tally to 65 titles in various tournaments less than 4 months before its celebration of the 65th anniversary of its founding on October 16, 1957.
The title this time has an exciting character after it was out of Al Hilal’s reach only 10 rounds before the end of the competition, and the team was 16 points behind Al Ittihad, which was at the top in the 20th round.
Al-Hilal stressed that his position did not come from a vacuum and he succeeded in proving his worth and his leadership of the Saudi teams in the list of the highest market value with a clear difference.
The statistics of the “Transfer Market” website, which specializes in the numbers and statistics of players and teams, indicated that Al Hilal, which has become the third team to win the league title for the third consecutive season after Al-Shabab and Al-Ittihad, tops the list of the highest teams in the Saudi League, with a market value of 60.45 million euros and among the highest Arab clubs from Where is the market value.
Al-Nassr comes second in the list with a value of 55.73 million euros, knowing that it ranked third in the league this season, while Al-Ittihad Jeddah and the runners-up of the league occupies third place in the list with a market value of 32.50 million euros.
