Important messages sent by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, during his inspection of a large number of projects during his visit to the Suez Governorate and the Suez Canal Economic Zone. He said that Egypt is keen for the private sector to be the leader in the development process.

He pointed out that in 2022 there were 11.7 million tourists who visited Egypt, and the material return was the highest in the history of Egypt, explaining that Egypt targets 15 million tourists in 2023, explaining that the number of hotel rooms in Egypt is 230,000 hotel rooms, and this number will be doubled.

He added that Egypt has increased in 40 years by more than 60 million people, explaining that the Egyptian state is racing against time.

He explained that Egypt treats 10% of its share of the Nile River, explaining that the water treatment plant project for the new delta project is 3 times the high dam, and it will be implemented in 3 years, explaining that there is a mandate from the president not to leave a water point without reusing it.

He explained that he had inspected a large number of projects during his visit to the Suez Governorate and the Suez Canal Economic Zone, pointing out that there are 7 Chinese companies that have expressed keen interest in investing in Egypt with investments of $5 billion.

He added, in a press conference in Suez Governorate, that he had inspected two factories for the production of optical fibers, explaining that before these factories, optical fibers were imported from abroad.

He added that a number of the factories that were inspected are the result of the encouragement of the Egyptian state to open new branches in Egypt, and there are factories that were transferred from China to Egypt.

He stressed that the agricultural and industrial sectors are at the top of the state’s priorities, explaining that the state is keen to support and encourage the private sector.
