Esperance vs ES Setif in the Champions League

Algeria’s ES Setif qualified for the African Champions League semi-finals, after defeating its Tunisian counterpart, Esperance, with a goal without a response.

The Algerian team returned from the heart of the Rades stadium with a precious victory at the expense of Esperance, with the goal of Abdelmoumen Djabo.

The formation of Esperance was as follows:

Moez bin Sharifiya – Raed Al-Fadeh – Elias Al-Shetti – Mohamed Amin Togay – Abdelkader Badran – Foussini Coulibaly – Ghaylan Al-Shaalali – Mohammed Ali bin Ramadan – Hamdo Al-Huni – Anayo Iwala – Mohammed Ali bin Hamouda.

On the other hand, ES Setif plays with a formation consisting of:

“Soufian Khadayriya – Hussein al-Areili – Hisham Belqaroui – Muhammad Khathir Zeyti – Houari Farhani – Amir al-Qarawi – Ahmed Kandoussi – Abdel Qader Botish – Akram Jahnit – Abdel Moamen Djabo – Riad bin Ayyad”.

The only goal in the match came through Gabu in the 21st minute, taking advantage of a magical pass behind the defense from Riad Bin Ayyad.

The first leg match ended in a goalless draw between the two teams, with ES Setif qualified for the semi-finals on aggregate.

ES Setif will face Al-Ahly in the semi-finals of the African Champions League, after the latter overcame the obstacle of Moroccan Raja 3-2 on aggregate.
