U.S. sports media giant ESPN has fired an NBA legend Paula Pierce, which staged a scandalous live broadcast on its Instagram account on Friday, reports the Associated Press and other sources.
A 17-minute video posted in Pierce’s own account shows a party full of half-naked women.
Pierce has been with ESPN since 2017. NBA legend has starred in The Jump and NBA Countdown.
“Important things are coming, follow and smile,” Pierce wrote in his Twitter account after the news appeared.
The former basketball player started working for ESPN immediately after the end of his career.
Pierce played in the NBA from 1998 to 2017, and in 2008 became NBA champion and final MVP.
The American has played 10 times in the NBA All-Star match.
