Christie’s Auction House has started selling parts of the estate of Earl Snowdon (1930-2017), Princess Margaret’s ex-husband and ex-brother-in-law of Queen Elizabeth, online. Under the title Snowdon: A Life in Art and Objects about 150 objects are offered. This includes wedding gifts, gifts the couple received on official occasions, as well as furniture, Chinese art, paintings, silver, books and photos.
