FC Barcelona goes back to the Camp Nou and beats Real Madrid 2-1

(CNN Spanish) — El Clásico promised emotions until the final whistle and it did not disappoint. Franck Kessié scored an agonizing goal at minute 92 that gave FC Barcelona a 2-1 victory against Real Madrid after a brilliant assist from Alejandro Baldé who received the ball with a shot from Robert Lewandowski.

With this victory against their historic rival, FC Barcelona is walking safely towards the LaLiga title and is 12 points ahead of second in the table, Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

Real Madrid went ahead on the scoreboard at minute 9 after an own goal by Ronald Araújo after a shot by Vinicius Jr.

Subsequently, FC Barcelona tied with one of the youth academy, Sergi Roberto, who masterfully executed a ball seconds before the end of the first half.

Real Madrid persisted and came close to extending their lead but a Marco Asensio goal was disallowed after a VAR review ruled it offside.

After the statutory 90 minutes had elapsed, the referee ordered a 5-minute discount, and in that time slot came the collective madness unleashed by Kessié.
