FC Porto may pay up to 4.8 million, the intermediary who concealed it, for the renewal of Otávio | Investigation

The renewal of Otávio’s contract, carried out in March of this year, involved an investment of almost 17 million euros in the coffers of the Sociedade Anónima Desportiva (SAD) of FC Porto. To reach an agreement with the player, the “dragons” hired (through the agent Israel Oliveira, who simultaneously represented the footballer) the intermediation services of Livesoccer Company Limited, disbursing an amount that could reach 4.8 million euros. A day after this agreement, the Porto administration mandated the same company to transfer the footballer, promising a net commission of up to four million euros. But the name of the company is not included in the list of intermediaries presented in the accounts of port owners, nor was the renewal operation the subject of a communication to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
