Sayed Abdel-Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly Club, believes that the decision of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is not fair at all, as described.

FilGoal.com earlier disclosed sufficient approval to open the replacement in the lists of club championships, the Champions League and the Confederation.

It was sufficient that the substituted player did not participate in a minute with his team in the tournament, and that the new player in the list did not participate in any minute of the two clubs.. (See details)

Abdel Hafeez commented on the AU decision, saying: “The decision is completely unfair, violates clear regulations, and serves specific teams.”

In his comments to FilGoal.com, he added, “How suddenly Kave decides to amend the competition as it goes. Even if he wants to do so, it is better for it to be the start of next season.”

“The AU decision serves specific teams. Look at Moroccan Wydad and Tunisia’s Esperance.”

“Wydad signed a contract with approximately 8-9 players, the same situation for Esperance. Look at the lists of Esperance and Wedad, there are approximately 4 players who did not participate since the start of the tournament, and despite that the pair moved and contracted with a large number of players, this indicates previous knowledge of the decision “.

He continued his speech by saying, “It seems that the decision was being prepared some time ago and some clubs know this.”

“The decision is not fair and helps specific teams to strengthen their ranks during the tournament,” he concluded.

Kafe has set a maximum limit for replacement, up to 4 players, and clubs can implement this step until January 31.

Al-Ahly cannot replace any player except Sharif Akrami, which is unlikely, given that there are two vacancies on the list, and it is expected that Senegalese Alliou Badji will be registered and the second seat has not been decided. (See details)

The coastal star leads Al-Ahmar in the CAF Champions League with 9 points, followed by Al-Ahly with seven points, and the Sudanese Al-Hilal with six points, and the star will be a guest of Al-Ahly next Sunday evening.
