Liverpool star Mohamed Salah did not give his best match against Genk in the Champions League, but he made a goal, as was his assessment by English newspapers.

Salah scored the winning goal for Alex Chamberlain of winning Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield in the fourth round of the group stage of the Champions League, the third victory in the league.

The English newspapers have evaluated every Liverpool player against the Genk with scores from 1 to 10.

The Egyptian international rating ranged between 6 and 7, with an average rating of all newspapers and websites of 6.6 out of ten.

The best of the game was Chamberlain, who scored the winner with an average score of 7.9.

With that result, Liverpool reached the ninth point and finished first in Group E, a point behind Napoli.

Salah has scored eight goals this season, five in the English Premier League and three in the Champions League.

Liverpool are preparing to face Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday at Anfield.

The reds are 6 points behind City.
