The English Premier League and Professional Players Association have announced that they will discuss the serious consequences from the economic side after the outbreak of the new Corona virus “Covid 19”.
The association said in a joint statement: “During the meeting, which witnessed the presence of the English Football Association, the Professional Players Association and the League, the ideas of all those affected by the outbreak of the virus were expressed.”
The statement continued: “We agreed that difficult decisions will be taken to mitigate the profound impact of the economy resulting from the suspension of football competitions for professional players in England and to work together on common solutions.”
“The links will not be suspended more than that until at least April 30th, and you will do so when it is safe to talk about it and conditions permit,” he added.
He concluded, “Meetings will be held in the coming weeks to reach a clear joint plan to deal with the difficult circumstances we face, whether as ties, clubs, players, technical teams or fans.”
Britain recorded more than 11,660 cases of Coronavirus, along with 578 deaths and 135 recoveries.
The English Premier League had announced the suspension of professional competitions until April 30, after it had announced its suspension until the 5th of the same month.
