Mohannad Aoun, agent of Ferjani Sassi, Zamalek midfielder, talked about the player’s return to Cairo, pointing out, “This is the biggest response to everything that is said.”
“Sassi’s return to Cairo again is the biggest response to all the recent rumors,” said Sassi’s agent.
“Some have accused Sassi of escaping from Zamalek. Sassi never does that,” he added in his remarks with FilGoal.com.
“Sassi is a great player and it is impossible to escape from Zamalek. He respects Zamalek and its departments and travel was in coordination with Zamalek.”
“Sassi will never escape from Zamalek. He continues with the team up to the moment very naturally,” he stressed.
“If Sassi ever thought to leave Zamalek, it would be a great door,” he said.
He explained, “If the player receives an offer, we will notify Zamalek about this, but that did not happen.”
Ferjani Sassi obtained a two-day vacation with the permission of the technical staff, after Zamalek’s victory over Aswan.
The Tunisian international returned to Cairo today, Sunday, to take part in the exercises starting from next Monday.
Zamalek is preparing to face Zambian ZESCO United on Friday in the fourth round of the African Champions League.
