After 279 days, Al-Ahly midfielder Mohamed Mahmoud returned to the initial lineup at his team's friendly against the media, which Al-Ahli gave him a secret character.
Mahmoud was cut in the Cruciate Ligament last January 8 in the red match against Smouha, to miss the Wadi Degla player from his history and after playing only two red jersey games.
Mahmoud appeared at the center of the offensive midfield, facing both Alio Dieng and Hossam Ashour, in a friendly match in which coach Rene Feiler aimed to verify the readiness of the players before facing Zamalek on Saturday.
Al-Ahli's formation in the match was as follows:
Goalkeepers: Sherif Ikrami
Defense: Mohamed Hany – Ramy Rabia – Yasser Ibrahim – Mahmoud Waheed
midfielders: Aleo Dayang – Hossam Ashour – Mohamed Mahmoud – Ahmed Sheikh – Walid Suleiman

Ahli took the lead in the first half with a goal from Walid Azzaro.
Al Ahli and Zamalek will face Saturday in the fourth round of the Egyptian championship.
Ahli is leading the standings with 9 points in 3 rounds, while Zamalek is third with 7 points.
