Flight attendant breastfeeds hungry baby after the mother is out of the formula


A flight attendant Philippine Airlines is praised on social media after breast-feeding a passenger's baby in mid-air.

In a post posted on Facebook Wednesday, Patrisha Organo said that everything went smoothly until after takeoff when she heard a baby cry.

"I approached the mother and asked her if everything was OK, I tried to tell her to feed her hungry child, with teary eyes, told me that she had finished the formula and the passengers began to look and stare small and fragile newborn, "Organ wrote.

Without artificial milk, he said that he offered to breastfeed the baby. According to CBS News, Organo has a daughter of almost a year at home.

"Ms. Sheryl Villaflor, line manager on my flight, immediately assisted her mother in the galley where I breast-fed the baby, the baby started cheering, she was so hungry," added Organo.

"I saw the relief in his mother's eyes, I kept feeding the baby until he fell asleep, I accompanied her to her place and just before leaving, her mother sincerely thanked me."

In his post, Organo said the flight was a scheduled flight for check-in to make it qualified as a Cabin Crew Evaluator and knew it would be special.

"Thank you, Lord, for the gift of breast milk," he wrote.

Starting Thursday afternoon, the post has been shared more than 24,000 times and has collected over 5,000 comments.
