Floridian wins $1 million after getting cut off in line

Patience paid off big for a Florida man who became a millionaire after being cut off by a stranger in a grocery store line.

It was thanks to the lottery ticket he bought at that time that Stephen Espinoza was able to win the $1 million jackpot.

The man who says he was exhausted after a long day of work was trying to get a lottery ticket from a machine before going home, when an individual roughly passed him in the queue, according to a press release.

Despite his anger, Mr Espinoza, 43, maintained that he chose to walk quietly to the counter to select a scratch ticket. He immediately realized that he had just become a millionaire.

Today, the man from Delray Beach, near Miami, still finds it hard to believe he picked the winning ticket. He now intends to buy a house for himself and his family.
