Special editions usually bring out the best in each vehicle, highlighting, among other things, the design or technical tributes that make them stand out from the rest. This is what happens with the new Ford Ranger Thunder Edition 2020, which highlights the best of the pickup, although only for the UK market.
On the outside it is the same face that we know for this, but this time with a special treatment on the body, with a special gray tone and vivid black and red, such as on the grill, logos, wheels and other applications.
The cabin also has a specific treatment, with seats covered in leather and real seams in red, a hue that is repeated in the lighting of the low door frame. The rest are complemented by bright black ornaments in aluminum on vents and internal handles, for example.
The pickup is based on the most equipped version in that region, that is, on a package that implements a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine with 210 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque. The companion to the propeller is a new generation 10-speed, self-driving box.
Ford will only make a total of 1,430 units of this Ranger Thunder Edition available to all the countries that make up the United Kingdom, which will cost almost 33 thousand pounds sterling, the equivalent of almost 955 thousand Mexican pesos.
The availability of this model will begin this coming summer and will end when the last available unit is sold with the treatment provided by this special edition.
