Ford recalls 268,000 cars in the United States

The automaker Ford is recalling more than 268,000 Vehicles mainly in the United States to fix a problem with doors that might open unexpectedly or not close.

This new recall affects the 2014-2016 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ models, and the 2014 and 2015 Ford Fiesta

Vehicles registered in states that weather temperatures are more extreme are more affected by high temperatures.

Ford will contact vehicle owners beginning May 4, dealerships will replace the side door latches free of charge.

No registered cases of accidents or injuries caused by this failure.
