The Amsterdam catering industry will not work with corona wristbands. Most catering entrepreneurs in the city see “no added value” in such wristbands, say spokespersons for the catering industry association KHN and the municipality. Catering visitors still have to show a QR code if they want to enter.
The wristbands are used in Groningen, Heerenveen, The Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Zwolle, Breda, Maastricht, Arnhem, Alkmaar and Roosendaal. They are not required there; people are also allowed to use their app.
Visitors receive a corona wristband when they show the QR code from the CoronaCheck app at a checkpoint and then no longer have to show the code everywhere.
