After two months since the quarantine began, this Saturday the Sports Secretary of San Juan, Jorge Chica, announced that healthy walks will be enabled from next Tuesday. However, given that there is no virus circulation in the province, it is expected that in the next few days they will give the green light to some sports.
According to the Diario de Cuyo newspaper, the first sports to return will be those practiced outdoors such as running, cycling and mountain biking and the athletes who practice these activities will be able to train again starting next May 25. In addition, they work on a next stage in which sports such as tennis, paddle tennis and golf, among others, will be enabled.
In order to train, professional and federated athletes must access a platform where they must leave their personal data and, if they are a professional, they must present the license that accredits it. From there, the authorities will define the times and places where each interested party can train.
In addition, each department will have circuits in which it is sought that the athlete respects social distancing and complies with basic care.
As for athletes who belong to teams, such as cycling, they must carry out their training individually.
