Grounded: already 1 million players for the survival game in a garden

Grounded came out July 28, at least in Early Access, sur PC et Xbox One. The title is developed by Obsidian Entertainment, rather used to RPG, but who offers here a survival game in a garden, playing as shrunken children who must collect resources, build a base and battle horrible bugs.

The title has the merit of being a bit original, and it attracted players, who are already more than a million to have tried it during the 48 hours after its launch. So certainly, Grounded rose to the top of the Steam (next to Microsoft Flight Simulator elsewhere), but this does not mean that the game has sold a million copies, it is indeed playable via the Xbox Game Pass (€ 29.99 for 3 months subscription, as a reminder), which undoubtedly helped push the numbers up.

Anyway, Grounded is currently very well received by players, and Obsidian Entertainment will obviously follow his game very closely, the studio plans to publish one update per month starting August 27, to improve the gaming experience and add content little by little.
