GTA Online and Red Dead Online have server problems, Rockstar says

New York City, United States – It seems that both at GTA Online as well at Red Dead Online Server problems occur as reports of the two games flood the Internet, including the Rockstar support Twitter page. There is currently no information on when the problems will be resolved, though Rockstar Games apparently “investigating” the problem.

According to the official support page of Rockstar Games both games seem to have multiple platform issues, with the only exception that Red Dead Online apparently works without problems in Google Stadia. The other games currently work with “limited” functionality on all platforms. Service outages have been common over the past few weeks, with Xbox Live experiencing problems due to increasing usage.

GTA Online and Red Dead Online: server problems on multiple platforms

It is not really foreseeable when things will normalize again. However, for those who really long to play, there should be no problem accessing the single player modes for both games during the outage. GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are also full of activities outside of the main stories, so there should be a lot to keep players entertained. Although for multiplayerFans the thing is going to be tedious.

Rockstar Games did not elaborate on whether the failure was due to an increase in users, although it would not be so surprising given the increase in Twitch viewership due to the corona virus. Are natural Server problems common in the video game industry for several reasons, so anything can cause the problem. In addition, the two online modes are from Rock star, out New York City (USA), quite popular Games. GTA Online has managed to set new player records in recent months, despite the old age!

Rockstar Games brought benefits to gamers during the coronavirus pandemic

GTA Online offers free money to players who sign up during the pandemic, which has helped many players sign up again. Also has Rock star donated part of his earnings to charities during the coronavirus pandemic.

Hopefully the servers will be available sooner rather than later, but players should be patient. The constant attempt to get into the two Games logging in will definitely not help, and bombing Rock stars Twitter account will be even less helpful. At the moment, players can only wait for the problems to be resolved. Unfortunately, the support page is also partially disabled.

GTA Online (GTA 5) and Red Dead Online (Red Dead Redemption 2) are available now.
