Have to Morbid, an indie game with style Souls and horror of Lovecraft

Today, June 13th, has just been concluded the event Future Games Show, which featured the best games are on the way to consoles and PC. There were proposals of all kinds, and among the indies that is revealed is Morbid: The Seven Acolytesa game that looks to be an interesting exponent within the genus Souls.

This indie developed by Still Running and distributed by Merge Games describes itself as a proposal RPG horrorpunk action with references to the literature of Lovecraft, as well as al gore’s film director David Cronenberg, that will be the exponent, the more violent within the genus Souls with isometric perspective.

In this adventure you’ll play in the last survivor Striver of Dibrom, which have as their mission end with the 7 acolytes, entities owned by the deities known as “Gahars”. These creatures survive only by linking your mind with other individuals, so you’ll have to end up with 7 acolytes to destroy the Gahars.

Like any good game inspired by the genre Souls, Morbid: The Seven Acolytes it will require players to learn the combat system to be able to move forward and improve the statistics of the character with RPG elements, including missions, runes, weapon upgrades and loot.

Some of the features of Morbid: The Seven Acolytes are different equipment for perosnalizar characters, immersive storyline with many NPC, more than 25 weapons for melee and administration of a system of health, stamina, and health.

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes will debut on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC at some point in 2020.
