Desmond Armond Joshua was barely 22 when he was killed after a customer complained about the wait time for his order at Burger King in Orlando, Florida.

On Saturday night, the drive-through of a Burger King restaurant in Orlando was taken by storm. Exceeded by a long waiting period, a customer got out of her vehicle and verbally assaulted the young employee, Desmond Armond Joshua. She then threatened to go find her husband. Faced with this hysteria, the employees of the fast food chain asked him to leave the premises and returned his 40 dollars.

“You have two seconds before I shoot”

A little later, the woman, accompanied by her husband, returned to the restaurant. The latter, a certain Kelvis Rodriguez-Tormes, challenged the young employee to a duel and seized a weapon hidden in his car. “You have two seconds before I shoot,” he told the 22-year-old employee before shooting him in the restaurant parking lot.

The young man was taken to hospital in serious condition before succumbing to his injuries a few hours later.

The client’s husband, 37, was arrested and charged with murder.
