“Hello anti-everything”: Emmanuel André has a new message for those who oppose the vaccine

Since the start of the Covid crisis, KUL microbiologist Emmanuel André has regularly shared scientific reasoning on his Twitter account. Fervent defender of vaccination, the expert strives to demonstrate the effectiveness of the latter through diagrams, graphs and other educational drawings. By sharing such ideas, the expert is often criticized by Internet users with divergent views.

This Thursday morning, the scientist seemed likely exceeded by the comments of certain antivax. He then posted a message full of irony in response to a user who lamented the “inefficiency” of the vaccine.

“Hello anti-everything. Sleep well?”, he began, cynically. “The vaccine massively reduces the risk of hospitalization and death in all age groups. It’s true that it would be nice if it also blocked transmission 100%. But it’s not the case. Kiss .”

A sarcastic remark that did not fail to react.
