Hisense has unveiled a new laser TV featuring a flexible roll-up screen. Gizmochina… The novelty, which premiered as part of the Global Laser Display Technology and Industry Development Forum, is expected to go on sale by the end of 2021. The exact timing of the roll-out laser TV to the market and its cost have not been named.
According to the publication, Laser TV received a 77-inch screen with 4K HDR resolution and a maximum brightness of 350 cd / m2. A feature of the new Hisense model is the design of the screen – it practically has no frames on the sides and received a small frame on top, which helps the display to fold. When folded, the screen hides in a stand, which houses Harman Kardon speakers with Dolby DTS support.
According to Hisense, the new Laser TV is the world’s first laser TV with a movable screen. The design of the device includes more than 70 patented engineering solutions developed by the company specifically for the new TV.
